Thank you Melissa- it is still a powerful force in my life- I still to this day silently count and tap- it takes me ages to go to bed as I check locks and windows but I try and embrace it as part of me with kindness and compassion. We are all unique - Boxsets my guilty pleasure 🫶
That’s my idea of a good recipe format … realistic timings, tips on how / when to hold the process .. advice on storage / use of any leftovers. Mostly, when I read ‘serve immediately’ I turn over the page. I can’t live / entertain friends with that sort of pressure. Bravo too for your confidence in sharing your story ….
Wonderful post Sarah - already looking forward to the next one!
And I love this idea of breaking down the recipes into their standalone processes. It is a skill I picked up from various cooking and baking courses I have done and which has served me well when running a supperclub alongside a busy day job and still serves me well now when trying to fit recipe testing in and around my day job and running after my toddler.
Love that photo of you Sarah! We share the same two loves. Boxsets and cooking. I found your description of OCD powerful and your connection to childhood trauma. I'm glad you are reclaiming your joy though too.
Wonderful Sophia thank you! It’s the way my brain works and has served me well! Lovely to receive your feedback xx
Thank you Trine. Always so tricky to put into words but so pleased it is out in the open xx
Thanks so much Jacky- your feedback makes me so happy that it makes sense! More to come.

Excellent. Such an interesting conversation going on about OCD
It is out in the open which is great - stop the shame cycle of such an isolating mental health condition.
Attagirl xx
Great post, Sarah! Much looking forward to continuation.
Thanks Elisabeth. Into my groove xx
